This Cookie Policy explains how Happy Paws LLC, doing business as HappyPawsUS ("we," "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on www.happypawsus.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

• Shopify: secure_customer_sig, localization, keep_alive. Keeps you signed in, remembers your country and language, and maintains your session. From 30 minutes to 1 year.

• Cloudflare: __cf_bm. Distinguishes people from bots. 30 minutes.

• Blockify (fraud and bot prevention): first-party cookies and browser storage. Checks IP addresses for VPNs, proxies and location, and creates a device identifier from browser and device characteristics to recognize bots and fraudulent devices. It also sends periodic time-on-site requests while you browse. Up to 2 years.

Functional

These support features you choose to use.

• Kommo (customer chat): keeps your chat conversation connected while you browse. Duration set by the provider.

• Website widgets (for example, Elfsight): display content such as reviews and galleries. Duration set by the provider.

Analytics (only if you accept)

• Shopify: _shopify_y, _shopify_s. Shopify's store analytics (visits, pages and sales). From 30 minutes to 1 year.

• Google Analytics: _ga, _ga_GQFDT7Q9RL. Measures how visitors use the site. 2 years.

Marketing (only if you accept)

These help measure our ads and show you relevant ads on other sites and apps. They are switched off if you decline, and personalized advertising is switched off for visitors using GPC.

• Google Ads (Google & YouTube channel and Google Ads Pixel by Nabu): _gcl_au and Google advertising cookies. Measures conversions from our Google ads and supports remarketing. Up to 90 days for _gcl_au; Google's own cookies can last longer.

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel: _fbp, _fbc. Measures our Meta ads and supports ad targeting. 90 days.

• OpenAI (Pixel for OpenAI Ads): advertising identifier. Measures our ads on OpenAI's advertising platform. Duration set by the provider.

• Klaviyo (email marketing): __kla_id. Links your browsing on our site to your email subscriber profile so we can send relevant emails. 2 years. Our sign-up form may record whether it was shown or closed before you make a choice.

• Shopify Collabs: referral cookie. Credits a creator if you arrived through their referral link. Duration set by Shopify.

4. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies change. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last revised.
